To my siblings,
Merry Christmas. I wish I could carry on our daddy’s tradition and call you just after midnight. If that was all I got, it would make me so happy during this otherwise depressing time. I have struggled with Christmas since daddy’s passing. Neither of you know that because you chose to avoid me like the plague once he passed. You didn’t bother to check on me and when I attempted to check on you, you ignored me.

I have tried every year to celebrate as he would want us to do, but it is hard when your own siblings have forgotten the traditions that were so precious to the man who raised us.
I wish you both nothing but happiness. I will never ignore you or any member of the family that so chooses to reach out. My phone hasn’t changed. Texts or calls are always welcome.
