28 July 2022 – a few days have passed, I had gotten a little side tracked but I had not forgotten this mess. My STATEMENT had been reviewed and approved to send, by a legal aid, on July 21, 2022. I still had not heard anything regarding the my STATEMENT being sent to my sister’s attorney’s. All I could do was wait and check the probate records once I got a confirmation of receipt. That receipt came on Saturday July 23, I knew it would be Monday, July 25 before it was actually opened, so I waited.
On July 26, 2022 my STATEMENT was entered into probate. On July 27, 2022, my brother’s attorney filed a Notice of Representation.
Interesting fact here folks… I checked probate records today, July 28, 2022. I saw where mine was entered into their system on July 26, 2022 and even stamped as received on that date – 22Jul26PM4:26:56; YET if you look at the listing of related documents, they show my statement as being received AFTER my brother’s legal representation. My brother’s document was stamped 22Jul27AM10:23:15, the day after my statement yet is shows on the list before my statement making it look like my statement was received on 28 July 2022. I don’t know about you, but if our legal system can do little things like this and eyebrows not raise, what else is being done? In the grand scheme of things, will this matter? Only time will tell.
Once I saw my STATEMENT online I felt like I had finally been heard. I felt a small sense of vindication for mama, daddy, myself and the “Brewer” name.
