4-May-2021 – This driver has been encountered MULTIPLE times on the SAME road around the SAME time and EACH and EVERY time she has her phone in her hand while driving. My personal FIRST encounter with this driver was a few weeks back. She literally pulled across into the left lane in front of me without signal or looking. I opted to go around her on the right, which was clearly uncalled for, and as I passed I noticed her phone in her hand. Yes…I blew my horn and yelled at her to “put her phone down”. She was about to turn off as I passed and surprisingly noticing my anger.
On 3-May-2021 when this photo was captured, she had been on her phone at a stop light. Again, she loves the left lane and I was in the right lane beside her. She was so deeply mentally invested in the phone that she failed to go when the light turned green. She created a gap of about 100yards. This isn’t a big problem right? Yes it is. Why? Because at 5:15pm on this particular road traffic is already backed up and by doing this she adds to the frustration and flow of traffic.
A quick glance at the car we can see a dent in the passenger bumper. Maybe it was there when she acquired the vehicle. Maybe she did it by backing into a pole. No matter. It gives us an indication that she does not care. She appears to be a young adult. Not adulting very well. She is operating a deadly weapon while distracting herself with a gadget. She clearly has NO concept of the potential dangers lurking around her or what she could cause. What can we do?
