Ok. So it has been a long time since I posted or did a podcast. This happens when you have a full time J O B. Life happens and things get “pushed aside”.
Today, I encountered what I consider to be THE most childish and probably THE perfect example of how Facebook has turned people into keyboard bullies.
I joined this group called RVillage, focused on the RV lifestyle and community. Not because I am active in the RV lifestyle, yet, maybe, but because we all find groups when we have an interest. I rarely post but I learn. Yeah. I read their VERY long list of “rules” as well as their “about” post. Both of which sounded like it was drawn up by wannabe lawyers or a few young couples who think the world is suppose to be all rainbows and sugar.

Now, as you can see…they clearly state that “if you are having a bad day, go for a walk and come back with a positive attitude…”. Let’s be clear, this a community of people who often travel and see very few people and rely on this group of like minded to help them, YET, if you have a bad day, you cannot share that in this group! FOR REAL¿ I didn’t then nor today, set out to violate any of their precious rules, today, a lady posted a question about land her son acquired and setting it up for camping on. She NEVER advertised the location, dollar figures, not even the State and NEVER even implied she was setting up a RV camping spot for rent, sell or use by anyone. The post was, “Hi everyone. My son just got a very small land . Maybe two / three campers can be on it . It is by a river but has I big drop off. It is beautiful. Does anyone know what we should due to safety have campers?”

Of course, several people kinda questioned the admin and…..their comments disappeared before I could get screen shots. So, I decided to throw my opinion into the ring:
I went about to also add that I expected to be booted and would remove myself because I really am growing sick of Fakebook anyway. I forgot about it for the work day, did my J O B and didn’t look at social media….until late this evening.
They took my posts as a violation of precious rule#9!!! WTF!?!?
So by this, one can surmise that RVillage is run by dictators!! You are not allowed to question them even one little bit. I was subsequently removed…my comment joined those others who were deleted. I can still read and “like” but cannot comment.
Talk about censorship!!
Ya know what RVillage admin/moderators….I hope the bird of paradise finds it’s way up that stuck up nose of yours and lays eggs!!!
Y’all are the most self centered, egotistical, keyboard bullies ever. You are constantly posting, an obvious canned message, telling people to join RVillage.com and get better feedback as if you don’t even want them on Fakebook anyway. Not everyone wants to login to websites and navigate message boards “the old fashioned way”. If you didn’t want the Fakebook group to be a secondary place for like minded individuals, why the hell did you create it??
I also ask you, RVillage moderators….why in the world was my comment seen as “harassing”…? Are you REALLY that sensitive? Does your feelings get hurt that easily? Maybe it was because I vaguely questioned the rules…by questioning you. So what? Maybe you need that because this little bit of power has obviously gone to your head. If you cannot handle being called out when you overstep you have NO right to call others out.
I’m just sick of so many people hiding behind a damn screen/keyboard and acting like the world is suppose to bend to their sensitivity. Grow a set and learn to defend your position.
