Ok so our kids have had it with Edgenuity….not to mention parents have had it with snow days….but, after a snow day my kids return to school; dreading Edgenuity. Shortly after arriving and going to said dreaded lab, I get a text showing me a slip of paper. This paper (hopefully featured image) essentially spells out that my child has been assigned an ADDITIONAL math class and must pass by certain percentages or gets NO credit!!!!
SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!?? Why in the hell are you ADDING classes to these kids!!!??
Furthermore, if I wanted my kids to be “distance” learners, I would homeschool them!!! They are spending too much time chasing their tails and doing what you dictate!!!! How about teachers get back in front of the classroom and I dunno, TEACH these kids!!!!! It’s a concept that worked for my generation!!!!!
I’m SERIOUSLY considering removing my kids from Jessamine County Schools, I have options and I am investigating them.
