VOTING

OK…so I don’t really get into politics…there’s enough members of that club already. I do have an opinion and I have the right to state that opinion. I “choose” not to state that opinion daily through social media as if I am the ONE who will sway the membership levels of politicians all over America.

Seriously…I do not believe for a SECOND that “we the people” really decide who wins in politics. That is decided among themselves waaaaaay before we are “given” the opportunity to weigh in by voting on election day. Point proven many times by the scandals surrounding polls and fraud.

It is my belief that NO ONE PERSON is qualified nor justified in leading an entire country. It takes a TEAM a group of like thinkers with ONE goal keeping them together. Sure, there are always some ‘radical’ or ‘right wing’ (or it is ‘left wing’) thinkers that throw a wrinkle in such goals…but, it is to be expected. We are all human. We all have a brain. Some use it (the wing thinkers) and some do not (non-wing thinkers). I hear things like, “damn liberals” or “damn democrats” and I wonder…who are WE to label these people who have chosen to participate in a scandal called politics? If we just ignored them, would they go away? Sure, someone has to be held “responsible” for America. I do not want that responsibility…heck, I am doing good to run my itty bitty tiny half-acre of the Great United States of America. If there is some crazy, face it, you GOTTA be crazy to be a Presidential Candidate — anyway, if there is some crazy fool that wants to be top dog of America….I think he/she should bring a TEAM. The candidates should not just be President/Vice President – give me the ENTIRE big picture of your team. Give me a portfolio of your team, background checks, financial disclosures, family tree, the good, bad and ugly. Put all of this in a nice little book, save a LOT of campaign funding – let us buy said book for a FRACTION of cost; study candidates. Let us know who the team is that wants to take the bull by the horns and run America smoothly. Get all of the dirt out in the open. I do not really care who you slept with, how many times you were married or who your son/daughter is sleeping with…I care about KNOWING you are willing to put EVERYTHING that made you who you are out there. I want to know that you made changes, positive, in your life…because if you can handle your LIFE then you and this team can work to handle America.

Running for political office is a JOB…every job has someone to interview at many levels. Today, it’s online screening, algorithms written by more with political ties, decide if you fit the company. Then, if you make it past that, you get a phone interview. Where today, that person calling you is upset because co-worker relationships are falling apart. Spouse found out about affairs but they have to do this dreaded phone interview with a stranger. They fear the stranger might bring more to offer the affair in the office, so they bomb the interview FOR YOU….or maybe, you present yourself so well, they pass you along to HR now. HR gets you on a REALLY good day. You get through that call with ease and flying colors. Then, you get to interview with a manager, who might or might not be your boss if you get this job. You sit in the room, you feel like you are about to pass out during the questions. You put on a good act and in walks another manager or two. You endure their glares, their mumbles as they look at your resume….a resume that is merely your life in ONE page…no one sells themselves in ONE page….ask politicians. ANYWAY..you endure yet another set of glares and questions and constant studying of your body language. While you may sit properly, one of them in the room does not like it. Just so happens the one that does not like it, just ended the affair with the one you interviewed with on the phone because they were caught. Not knowing this, you press forward and get out of the interview with dry armpits. You wait for a week before you are called only to find out, you have to do this again because several of the managers were fired.

WOW!! All of this just to land a job to feed your family, keep your half acre of the great land called America so you have somewhere to call home on the day you need to go exercise your RIGHT to vote. After all of that, you might land the job…but as everyday American’s, we go through more to get a job than politicians do to run our country or represent our State, county or city.

Let’s exercise the RIGHT to vote or NOT vote. BY NOT voting, you are simply saying, “NO ONE PERSON has give ME their credentials that satisfy my choice.”
