This has been eating at me for a while…seems the disease is spreading. STUPIDITY!! Driving down the road, glance over and see the driver with headphones in!!! Not one “earbud” either. I am talking about the white iPod™ headphones that stand out like a sore thumb!! Is that not STUPID!?! I think I saw that 10 times in the last week!
I understand the radio just does not entertain us anymore, mine rarely comes on. However, earbuds crammed in the ears makes driving hazardous for the rest of us!
This is the reason I am so afraid to teach my teen to drive…he has to be put out there with STUPID people like that! It definitely reinforces “defensive driving”. In each and every case these drivers were driving slowly in the left lane or switching lanes without looking. One guy was oblivious…we rode beside him for a short while and I was looking at him the entire time…almost snapped a picture…pretty sure he would not have noticed!
